Well, in my short time here on BOTL so far, I've not seen a long ash contest run, so I thought it's time I host one. The rules are simple:
1) Smoke a cigar
2) Try to get a long ash
3) Submit a photograph of the ash at its longest before it falls
4) Photographs taken with a ruler next to the ash will help
5) All photo submissions must be from recent cigars smoked*
6) I reserve the right to adjust rules as necessary**
7) The contest will end two weeks from today 12/14/07 at midnight CST
8) A three cigar premium payout is on the line plus a one of a kind, "Long Ash Champion" Cigarnament will be included!
opeyes:
* I'd hope that all our member are honest enough to not Google images or use images of cigars they smoked in the past. Google or old images will result in disqualification.
** This is simply so I can make things more equitable in the chance there's something that I didn't realize in the initial rules as I've never done this before.
So get those cigars lit and be careful not to drop your ash! Here's a pic of a WOAM that I had last winter in Minneapolis, not for a contest, but it just burned so nice!
