  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Anyone use a table top lighter? Looking for one that won't break down after only a few months of use. Something that is also aesthetically pleasing as well... CI carries the AB, the Vector (3 pump?) looks nice but $$$... where's the best place to pick one up...?

TIA for any help.

I love the AB had mine for quite a while and everybody still mentions how well it works and good it looks.

Not to thread jack, but on a related matter, DO NOT get the Walnut Desktop Plunger cigar cutter from CI!! I bought one recently and it looks really great. But, it cuts really crappy. Good news CI customer service is great and is sending me a Fed Ex return label and will refun my money.

I have this one, but i just got it, so I don't know yet about longevity. The torch is pretty big, so I've had to practice a bit with it. Maybe I could try lowering the flame. Anyway for $30 it's a great deal...

My B&M has one on the coffee bar in the lounge. It’s the regular vector without the Perdomo logo (same exact lighter). It gets some heavy use and they have been using the same one for a quite a while. Retail there is $50. I want one myself and $30 from CI is a good price but I already have three lighters and just can’t justify spending the money on another right now. Maybe if my table top craps out.

Glad to hear it lasts through some heavy use.
