It's an extreme example to be sure. There will always be good and bad places to shop, but for the most part I've found internet buying quite easy and trouble-free in the past 7+ years. But I also do lots of research on any major purchases ... both on the item and the vendor. Google and Yahoo have made this process much easier.

I agree with you Ted. You have to know your vendor and your product. If you save 20 bucks on a 300 dollar item that is shit, you have a handfull of 280 shit. If you get a 300 item from a reputable vendor with a good product, you have a 300 dollar useful item.

Shop wisely and do your research!
