Smoke it if ya got it!
@mel-mbombay First off big thanks to m bombay for sending us a bunch of cigars to try out. It is a big leap of faith knowing that the reviews could possibly go either way. When Mel first joined up he was fully confident by saying the sticks will speak for themselves..... well lets see...
I received two sticks. First up is the habana blend
I think that it is pretty neat they sourced tobacco I don't commonly see in a cigar. Once I opened my small flat rate I could instantly see the care and attention to detail that was put into this quality stick.
The wrapper was a flawless beautiful work of art. The over sized band added to the great appearance
I tried to find a flaw in this cigar but I couldnt. pre light draw and draw after first light were spot on. Not to much but not plugged up either. The roller definatelly knew what he was doing here. I was kinda sad That I was going to have to take this beautiful band off so soon. I like to leave my bands on while i smoke. But Mel had me covered!
It had a small band under the larger one! I also like how the foot is slightly closed off. It made for a really nice and easy light up.
When I lit it up I could tell this was med or a med full flavor this is a little stronger than what I normally smoke. There were some hints of pepper to start me out.
The burn line was very nice with no touch ups needed
And down to the last third
over all this was a great smoke. I was pretty impressed throughout. I am however more of a fan of a light to mild smoke I seem to pick up more flavors with my palette. I am really looking forward to smoking the shag foot that came with this one. all in all i think mel has done a wonderful job with what i have seen so far. Thank you for the chance to try them out.
