I attended a Macanudo Cru release event last night at a local B&M.
We each got 3 cigars -Robusto, Lonsdale and a Toro, a macanudo cutter and a chance to win either 1000 or 10,000 dollars for a 20 dollar ticket. I didn't win. :crytears:
I chose the Lonsdale to smoke for the evening.
I'm going to have to say that although it could be a good smoke, I was disappointed. It toasted and lit well, but the one I had just would not stay lit. It wasn't that I was putting it down for extended periods either. I'd be smoking it along, stop to converse for a minute or 2 and it would just seem to go out. This started at a little under half way into the cigar. When it went out with a third left after all the relights, I put it down.
It did have a strong pleasant flavor, and if it would stay lit, I'd recommend it. But if you get one some I'd let them sit for awhile.
