but when you buy one from a broker you are responsible for a $500 deposit and if you dont retyrn the pass after the round you dont get the $$$ back

This year is the first year in seven years that I am not down there. The wifey put an end to that shit cuz it was a "road trip" with the pals every year. It's a long story. There is a ticket lottery every year for "practice round" tickets. The waiting list for tournament tickets was closed in, I think, 1998. If I didn't get tickets, I would just go to the gate around noon and buy someones from them if there leaving for $20. Last year I baught 4 tickets from a guy and his family $50. Pissed the scalpers off when I sold 3 for $150 and walked onto the course. It is quite a "Holy" place for a the real golfer.
