Thanks to @mel-mbombay for sending me this cigar to review. I very much enjoyed the kesara blend, and have been looking forward to this.

Again, the presentation on this guy is fantastic. One of the best looking bands I've seen. To me, it screams Persia. The wrapper has a nice consistent brown hue to it. No discoloration whatsoever. The closed tail is also visually appealing.
Upon lighting, I find it a little harsh, but I know this is gonna even out. Now here is where my review differs from most others. I'm picking up medium to full flavor so far oak and cedar in this guy. The ash is very dark gray and while its holding on strong, I'm having an uneven burn line but thankfully, it's not affecting the smoke.

I'm starting to get a strong twang on the retrohale. I usually experience this with Fuentes and cc's. This is where my problem is. My palate does not usually enjoy that profile. Ever smoke a cigar that people rave about, but you just can't get into? That's me, right here. Besides the opus, I'm not a huge Fuente or vsg fan, and most cc's also don't get me going.
The smoke remains pretty consistent throughout the end.

I'm going to give this one an incomplete score. My palate just can't get into it. However, I can tell you this, it's high quality, no sourness or acidity. I'd still recommend it, because it is very similar to some smokes that guys rave about so I think the majority of guys will love this smoke. For me, I'll stick with the kesara blend, as that was right up my ally.
