First puff hit me with something very smooth, like a creamy tobacco flavor if that's even possible. After that it was cedar, very mild sweetness and a little pepper.
Aroma off the body when taking puffs is like a nice brewed dark coffee.
Ash is very light, almost see through in some spots. I've been ashing frequently to prevent a lap full of ash.
Burn on a windy day was damn near perfect! Better than some cigars I've smoked in perfect conditions.
Transition from first to second third got more pepper and less of that creaminess (if any) but more woodsy flavor came into play. That sweetness was a one time hit .
About half way through and leather comes into play with a bit of citrus zest. Not enough to be off putting but enough to make you wonder what's happening. It has lasted the entirety of the middle to final third.
Final third continues with the leather, woodsy, citrus zest and what might be an exotic nuttiness coming to join the fun now. A couple more puffs and it's definably walnut. That familiar dry flavor with a touch of oiliness and a touch of black pepper for the linger. The aroma has continued through with no deviation. Strength has started to kick in in the final third as well.
This was a fun cigar to smoke. Interesting flavors throughout, great smoke production, great burn and delivered a kick at the end. There was little to no heat build up which my tongue appreciated.
