BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I saw pictures of it on the Corn Cob Nation FB page....and they're long gone. Really nice pipes too. I'm not a HUGE fan of cob's but this one was well done and would've been a nice add to my small and growing collection. I wonder if anyone here picked one up who went to the show and did the pre-order..........?????

A Calabash is like a Sherlock Holmes style pipe. It has a removable bowl and a chamber resides below the bowl. This reduces gurgle and cools the smoke.
A reverse calabash has a similar chamber, but it resides in the shank of the pipe.

I got a phone call from these folks yesterday, seems they were down to me on a list of wants and I got a 2-tone with an amber stem. I REALLY shouldnt have but while on the phone, the wife yelled just buy it. so i did. Its being shipped today. apparently someone never claimed it and I was next on the list
