  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I’ve got an arduino running my temp and humidity monitor working on water level monitor and auto fill part of it.

Would be interesting to mount something like this into a humidor and be able to set tracklogs to record either every 15 minutes for 24 hours or once a day for a month to see trends. ( of course, I'm a date freak)

It's pretty much set up and ready to go. Plug a USB cable in and good to go.
For me, however, I rarely check humidity anymore. I used to constantly monitor but find no need these days to do so.
I use boveda packs in pretty much air tight coolers. I've yet to see the Boveda packs (assuming you have the correct amount of them for given space) fail to provide the correct humidity.

Might be a fun project but I am not electronically savvy enough to make something like that work. I would be more inclined to go with something lik3 this that is already set up and ready to go. https://www.amazon.com/Ambient-Weather-WS-10-8-Channel-Thermo-Hygrometer/dp/B01EIBJO76/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1509245125&sr=8-6&keywords=wireless+humidity+monitor&th=1
