These other guys do not know what they are talking about. Old cigars suck. I've got some from FEB06 I'll trade you for your old crappy cigars.

Personally I would let them thoroughly recover from shipping...like a month in the humidor...and then smoke one. I would think that at 2.5 years they should be just now opening up.
