  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

These are my choices for codes on a box of Montecristos I'm going to order:

LES MAR 01 RPO E000
PAS OCT 00 SSU JUN 00
PAR NOV 02 VPA OCT 01

Maybe it doesn't make any difference but just wondered if anybody had a suggestion?

Few years back I believe I split a Mc1 with the code LES MAR 01. From what I remember, my half smoked wonderfully. A little young, by at that point they were just over a year. By now these should be great. I'm not positive this was the code, I'm not at home to look through my boxes so if you get another suggestion, I'd use that with precidence over what I've found.

For my money, I avoid all 1999 & 2000 codes for 42 ring smokes, unless I've personally tried that batch before. I've experienced too many flat tasting and/or plugged cigars to risk my $ anymore, and sending them back is a hassle. If I'm buying from that list blind, I'm taking the oldest non 99/00 available, or LES MAR 01.
My 2 cents, YMMV
