My Uzi Weighs A Ton - Bait Fish 4x44
For size references: paired next to a T52 Toro
The Bait Fish is that perfect size for the cold months. Big enough to give you 45 minutes of enjoyment, and small enough to get you out of the cold and into your house before you freeze to death. When I first picked up the Bait Fish, I felt like Eddie Murphy in Harlem Nights when he picks up the little gun and says, "Oh, look how cute..."
Right into it, the Bait Fish's construction is superb. It has a small amount of give when squeezed, but overall feels solid. The wrapper is dark... very dark, with a slight sheen. The smell it gives off is like a sweet hay.
The first few puffs is all chocolate and leather, with no spice. It continues this way until about an inch, then there's a small amount of spice in the background. The strength is very much medium, and never went into full.
A little further in and something wonderful happened: the Bait Fish got incredibly sweet. It was as if someone dumped sugar onto the leaves. Delicious flavors of sweet tobacco, chocolate, leather, and a pinch of spice in the background rounded out the cigar to the nub.
The first inch of the Bait Fish had me worried. I was thinking to myself, "Eh, average smoke." It wasn't until I continued on that the cigar really took off and surprised me. I think I found my new favorite, quick smoke. I'll definitely be stocking up on these for the winter.
