My Father Le Bijou 1922 Petite Robusto
Construction:
The Le Bijou 1922 is gorgeous: from the small veins to the dense pack, this cigar has it all. The aroma is delightful as well, giving off that "barnyard" smell we've all come to love.
The band on this stick makes the cigar look classy and distinguished.
It didn't have the most even burn, but it never required a touch-up.
1/3:
Right off the bat the cigar smacks the palate with that familiar My Father spice, though it isn't as potent in the Le Bijou.
Sweet tobacco flavors with a hint of spice and mint (yes, mint) fill your mouth as the medium-bodied smoke coats your palate.
2/3:
The spice dies down around this point and it's mostly a sweet tobacco flavor. There's still a bit of a subtle minty flavor in the smoke. It's delicious.
The draw is excellent -- not too loose, not too tight. With every puff it lets off tons of smoke.
3/3:
Damn this cigar is good. The sweet tobacco flavor is still there, the mint is still in the background, and some of that "My Father Spice" is back.
Overall:
Great cigar! I'd recommend this stick to anyone.
Wonderful construction, decent burn, complex flavors, great draw, etc... The My Father Le Bijou 1922 is worth every penny.
