I just got my first briar pipe today from a fellow BOTL. I'm so happy with it, looks SO damn good! (I bought the bamboo rustic)
As far as reading about pipes, I'm in the same boat, bro. I know cigars somewhat well, but I've smoked pipes like a noob for several years now. Just going to read everything I can now, and start trying different blends that my B&M has. Unlike my boat though, you can order interesting pipe blends and have them shipped to you. I on the other hand, live in the soviet union of Washington concerning pipe tobacco, and they have decided it's illegal to have pipe tobacco from out of state shipped in.
