First we'll start with the technical aspect;
Wrapper: Mexican San Andreas
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Vitola: Intrepidus/Toro
Cap: Triple
Roll style: Entubado
Price: $10-12 (approx.)

Next to the appearance;
The band is very appealing, silver with black lettering.
The wrapper is medium smooth with a few veins. The wrapper has the scent of cocoa, leather, and a hint of coffee.
The foot smells of Dark chocolate.
Pre-light draw is of a medium resistance with a slight hay and coffee flavor.
Pack is consistant and firm.
Now to the good part!
Cap clipped perfect with zero cracking. On the first inhale I am hit with chocolate and spice, leather and spice on the retrohale. Have a tingling sensation in my mouth. As I continue into the first 3rd I start to pick up hints of cherry, by half an inch in the tingling is gone and the spice is receding, flavors are leaning to a dark cherry with leather appearing. At this point it is full in body and medium in strength. At 1.5 inches in the cherry flavor is fading to dark chocolate and leather with a slight spice reappearing. Only change at the end of the first third is a cinnamon on the retrohale. Going into the second 3rd the ash fell and the flavor shifted to a creamy nutty flavor with cedar. At the halfway point, 45 min. in, flavors are the same with almost no spice and a very creamy texture. Also the burn straightened out with no touch ups. (prob started wonky due to my light) At the beginning of the last 3rd the nutty flavor disappeared to a creamy coffee with leather, still getting leather and slight cinnamon on the retrohale. At this point the smoke output has been good but not voluminous. As the last third progresses the spice comes back in and is increasing. The ash fell again, the flavors are also shifting to a woody flavor with coffee still present. About an inch into the last third the smoke output doubled! The flavors stayed the same throughout the rest of the stick and the strength picked up towards full. Finished with about an inch left at 1.5 hrs smoke time.
My overall perceptions:
Great cigar! The flavors changed more than any I have personally had to date. Definitely an after dinner stick as I was feeling it in my head and a little in my stomach by the end. However it is a very fresh smoke as they are to be available sometime in the next month or so. Out of a possible 10 i give it a 9+. Only issue I had was the burn wasn't razor sharp, could've been a bad light on my part.
Thank you Lilo for sending me a couple of these!
