Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
I have tons of butchers paper laying around, never thought to use itAfter bunching the cigar gets wrapped in heavy weight paper for a uniform cylinder. Paper is held in place by a hair clip.

Here's how it looks out of the paper...

Have you tried to use that Clip a a Nub Holder? Looks like it has possibilities? After bunching the cigar gets wrapped in heavy weight paper for a uniform cylinder. Paper is held in place by a hair clip.

I just used paper to mold some Fectos, and then folded the last bit older to hold the paper tight. But my wife is a teacher and she has large sheets of paper that I “procured”. The sheets are 14 by like 24I'm going to have to try this out. I hadn't thought about re-using the paper as I have always taped it to hold it together. The hair clips are a great idea! And heavier paper should be useful too...
Thanks for sharing @Gdaddy !
That's plenty big. It's easier if you'll cut the strips about 2" wide and roll at an angle. You want the paper to remain smooth and flat without any creasing or buckling. This will require that your bunch is pretty uniform throughout. Watch out, because you can roll it so tight it can ruin the draw. Do a few experiments and you'll figure it out.I just used paper to mold some Fectos, and then folded the last bit older to hold the paper tight. Good. I find that I enjoy rolling about 4 cigars a night while listening to music. It's plenty.Yeah, I get about 4-5 strips out of the sheet.
Usually over night is better but have produced a good cigar in as little as 3 hours.I'm going to try the paper wrapping. How long do you guys leave it wrapped?
