  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Wineador finally taking shape. And with a cigar order placed to help fill it, I decided to share my build.
  • Started with a S&D NewAir AW281E from air-n-water.com (Cannot find the scratch or the dent).
  • Ordered drawers from Forrest @ wineadors.com. (See follow up post).
  • While i waited for those to arrive, I got rid of the plastic smell with newspapers.
  • Ordered 1lb of heartfelt beads and it was sitting perfect around 65/65 with very small fluctuations.
  • Added two AC Infinity Multifan S5 from Amazon fans for circulation and attached those to a timer.
  • Drawers finally arrived after 10 weeks. (more on that later....).
  • Seasoned drawers with distilled water using sponge, also added unscented KL and shot glasses.
  • Added hardware to the drawers and filled with sticks.
  • Picked up an IKEA end table.
  • Picked up the decal on eBay. Very happy with the etched glass look.
Finally complete!!!

Even though I do like my drawers, I didn't have the greatest experience dealing with wineadors.com
4/2 - Ordered drawers (3-5 week claim to build and ship) + $36 shipping
5/10 - Emailed asking for an order update
5/11 - Received an email claiming he was finishing up my order that afternoon
5/22 - Emailed asking for a shipping update
5/25 - Shipping label created for order
6/1 - Tracking shows USPS still awaiting package. Emailed asking for an update
6/4 - Received email stating package was shipping
6/6 - Package received by USPS in Lewiston, ID
6/11 - Package arrived (missing 3" drawer pulls)
6/12 - Emailed asking for a refund on missing pulls. Refund issued same day.

I'd choose another builder or find one locally next time...
I just think the builder has too much on his plate and gets overwhelmed.

Figured I’d go bigger than needed plus if I even fill it up I could take the wine out and add more drawers

My experience with Wineadors.com has been awful too. I’m ready to contact That pay pal company since they don’t believe in emailing people back. Glad your unit finally came together.
