Nascar Jeff Gordon VS. Jimmie Johnson fued

All right Nascar fans. So what do you think of this Jeff Gordon VS. Jimmie Johnson feed that we have brewing?

I know they have exchanged words in the past. But this time around I'm not so sure they will be able to bury the hatchet?

While I have them both as my drivers in the BOTL fantasy Nascar league. They are not my favorite drivers on raceday.

Do you guys feel that Jimmie Johnson is kind of the Alex Rodriguez of Nascar? What I mean is that the guy never admits any faults, bends the rules but dosen't break them and always gives the non contraversial politically correct answer all the time. c'mon Jimmy like Jim Rome says "have a take and do not suck"

IMO Jeff Gordon a 4 time champion himself dosen't want to see Jimmie Johnson win his 5th championship. I'm sure now that Jimmie has his 4th in a row that he'd love to win a 5th championship and be considered the best driver in this era.


Anyway I'm kind of enjoying watching this fued and look forward to seeing how it plays out this year.

It's hard for the old generation to pass the torch to the new generation. Same thing happened when Jeff first started driving. Jeff and Earnhardt would always lock horns.

Yes it is true Jimmy has done 4 in row, it is time for him to go down. Look at the way he races, stay out of the thick of things till the last 20 laps , the 1st one to bitch about tires, track, weather condition....
Remember it isn't All Jimmy Johnson, when u have a King like old man Hendrix with unlimited $$, (If Jimmy is so good put his golden boy ass in someone else car) see how he does....No ? that Jimmy is a good driver, but in my book he will never be the BEST.......

interesting. i think gordon is on the wane and desperately trying to recapture his dominance. but i don't think that will happen. he has to be jealous of jimmie. and when he does finally start to improve, johnson knocks him out. it's gotta be frustrating for the whole hendricks team. how can one team be so much better than the rest? junior has access to the best of the best now and still can't win. even mark is having a tough year. and jimmie acts just a little more smug all the time. and then, you sign kasey kane? there may be some more major implosions at hendricks.

Now we're talkin! As a die hard Terry Labonte fan (actually stopped watching after he retired) I'm grateful the Hendricks team helped him win a second cup but it's not the same sport that it used to be so I really don't care. Besides, IMHO those cups that Gordon won should have really been presented to Evernham.

Take away their crew cheifs though, and they wouldn't be doing well!
