  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I have not watched basketball in many years. I am old enough to have watched Jordan, Johnson, Pippen, and other greats from years ago, but have really lost interest in the sport.

My question is this. I recently saw the news about the guns in the locker room. I have also seen mention of NBA players flashing gang signs, and having gang related tatoos? is this true?

Yes that's true of what you have heard. BUT, the gang idea is a little over the top and has no merit in my opinion. There were people wondering if a couple players were flashing gang signs, but I think it's just a case of a couple players trying to act all cool trying to do something different.

It is true that Gilbert Arenas brought a gun into his own locker room and is alleged to pull it out on his own teammate!?! What a frickin' idiot wannabe! I hope he ends up like Plaxico Burress and ends up in prison!

I used to be such a huge NBA fan growing up in Minnesota of all places!?! LOL I went to the Timberwolves very first game in the metrodome and suffered through all the terrible years until Kevin Garnett brought some enjoyment to the fans. Then I moved away, am now in a city with no NBA team and I have lost all interest. I still am a Timberwolves fan, but I have not seen one game all year because they are never on tv, nor seen any highlights and could really care less. If the NBA comes back to Seattle, I will probably go to a couple games a year when the Wolves come to town.

I have found the NBA to be boring anymore. Lakers and Kobe this and Lebron that. Its the same old thing. I am not sure what players are supporting gangs but if they are that will probably be a quick way to end a career.
I am a Jazz fan and will watch the occasional game and used to score free tickets which was cool, but I am just not that into it anymore.
Kinda sad I guess but I would rather watch football, hockey and soccer.

Not much of an NBA fan, but how can anyone not enjoy watching the Celtics absolutely humiliate the Lakers to take the 08 championship? Otherwise, it's all Bryant and James.
