  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

LMAO! You're kidding right? Purchase cuban cigars on craigslist? C'mon man the chances you get legit stuff on there are probably 20/80. The chance that they were stored correctly is probably even lower! Go out an buy yourself a nice box of cigars the mag 50 is a reasonably priced box anyway, just go for it!

With out a picture, there is no way to tell for sure. I have had good experiences, and bad. If you do not know what to look for already then you are at the mercy of luck.....

Lesson No. 1: Never underestimate the other guy's greed.
Lesson No. 2: Don't get high on yer own supply.
Lesson No. 3: Never ever buy cigars on Craiglist. Especially CC's and even more, with no way to confirm them being legitimate. Just don't.

Thanks folks. I am not taking the bait on this one. I will seek out cc's from another source. One day my ship will come in and I'll partake of the infamous ISOM!

This is just one mans opinion here....but just go buy yourself some Tatuaje Havanas/Browns/Reservas/Cojonu, Liga 9/T52s, or any Nica puro really (I'm lovin' their tobacco these days)....heck stick with your Padrons that you seem to love. The aforementioned are ready to smoke NOW....and you don't have to wait 3-5 years for them to be great cigars.....they are pretty much right OTT.

If you think CC's are going to be the Cats Meow so to speak.......well, who knows....maybe they will. For me, I've not been impressed by many.

Not saying they aren't good....I've enjoyed the SCdLH line for the most part and a few others, but I'd choose the ones I listed above over virtually any Cuban I've had to date....and it's been several.

Just my .02 though ;).

Good advice. I've found that the La Riqueza #5 tastes/smokes exactly the same as a Partagas Shorts. The first time the clerk told me that, I thought he was kidding until I tried both in the same week.
