Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
DoucheThe actual date is stamped on the filler leaves, just disassemble the cigar to find out the month and year.

:agreesmilBet ya ten bucks that I can tell the year of manufacture by simply smoking it. Send one on over to me.
For the most part I can't seem to wait that long. I whish I had the patience to age things well.I am betting middle 08 code. There going to be too fresh to burn now, put those down for another 3-5 years if you can.
Scott if you can, seriously, wait. Those are not ready to smoke by a long shot. All the VI tubos I've had needed a good 5 years, they are young. Try one and see what you think, but they'll be much better off with a long nap. But I know that freakin' awesome lookin' tube just screams...."smoke me." Well, the cigar, not the tube. They are Aug08 sticks I come to find. And I am with Jeff. These will not be waiting that long. Maybe some but not all.
Thanks gents for the info and the harassment. Always a pleasure.
I agree with you Wade. But they just keep staring at me.Scott if you can, seriously, wait. Those are not ready to smoke by a long shot. As petty as it is, sometimes a nice looking tube carries a bit of a purchasing decision for me, just as a nice band does. You walk into a shop and start looking, you see the Tatuaje band, Padron 1K band, Perdomo Patriarch band, Trinidad and then Illusione, then you see the Opus X band, San Croistobal band, DC Maximus band, ESG band, La Aurora 100 Anos band, Padron 26...and all of a sudden those awesome looking bands make those cigars just more interesting to purchase. Of course I think this applies to newer cigar smokers than it does to those that know what each of those sticks is like.I agree with you Wade. But they just keep staring at me.
An yes, Cohiba makes some pretty tubos. I wish I could think of something to make them into. Like your Xmas ornaments.
Anywho, thanks for the info.
Oh, yea. I have you in my sights biatch. So watch out next week.:riflefire
