Can't go wrong with a Glock! I have a Glock 36 for my EDC and owned a 30 as well. Great firearm.

Congrats! The G17 has been subjected to some pretty extensive torture tests, and always nets impressive results. The bottom line on a defensive handgun is that when you call upon it, it is 100% dependable. Some may claim that their favorite handgun is as capable of this as the G17, but none are better. I've always considered it the AK-47 of handguns. I don't have a 17, but love my 30.
