New Ball Marker

Normally I would use a quarter, but today I decided to make a new golf ball marker. For those not familiar with golf, once you are on the green you are allowed to "mark" your ball. So this is what I am using now:

Started with a standard pin:

Removed the backing

Used a small pipe wrench(couldn't find my pliers, hehe):

Removed the post and the weld holding it on:

and....


















here it is:

Now I am just going to pick up one of those cheap magnetic markers and toss this on my visor!!

Used it today! I found a $5 magnetic marker and I was going to use the magnet so I could put the marker on my visor, but the marker wouldn't take to the magnet so I may have to glue a flat washer to the back of it.
