New Cusanos

Has anybody tried out either the Cusano Habano LXI Sungrown or the Cusano 59 Rare Cameroon? I just saw them in an ad in Cigar Aficionado?

Most shops I frequent have stopped carrying the Cusano lines entirely. They are stagnant on the shelves- a lot like the Trinidad lines.

It doesn't matter how good they are either. As soon as one gets a wrap like the 18, the line will struggle to get a foot up ever again. I personally couldn't stand the things. They were all air with no taste.

I would be willing to try them again, should I find them somewhere.

PS- I :rolling:LOVE:rolling: the Trinidad robusto from 03. Got my hands on a few that were aged very well and they were full of mild complex flavors. AMAZING

:barf: Didn't care for that at all, vile, pitched it just over 1/2 way through. And I for one like the 18 maduro a lot, we sell a ton of both the maduro and nattys at out shop.
