  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I leave for Vegas on Friday and am getting married on Saturday. I plan to have a cigar in my hand for the majority of our 5 day trip, so I wanted something a little easier to carry around then any of my Xikar hard cases.

This is going to do just fine :)

I was looking for a case the other night after a night of booze. I found that the 3 stick holders are more expensive than the 5 stick cases.

Thanks, brother! The Casa Fuente and Boli were enjoyed earlier today, with 2 great brothers!

I appreciate the kind words. It is going to be an amazing weekend for us!

You're exactly right. I picked up my 5 ct Xikar hard case for $25, whereas this 3 finger was $45 shipped. My 18 ct Xikar hard case was $55.......go figure.

Oh, shoot.....I believe I should have posted this in the 'storage' section. I first saw 'accessories' and immediately thought to post this here.

I apologize for this mistake. If there's a way I can move this to the proper section, I will do so at once.

I think they serve different purposes. You can still carry the envoy in your pocket. Good for a few sticks during a night on the town.

The difference in price is because the difference in material... ABS Plastic is cheap and easily gotten, along with being mass produced... Sized and fitted spanish cedar with nice leather wrapped/stitched around it, made in two parts to seamlessly telescope (I sound like a sales rep... don't I) takes a whole new level of creative skill and expensive materials... The price difference is sound.

That being said, I love my 5ct Cigar Caddy, Fits in my back pocket, and I know it's keeping things safe.

Congrats on the new purchase, quite a looker, and congrats on the marriage. Years of wealth, health and happiness to you both!

Thanks, everyone! Friday morning can't come soon enough, as that's when we'll all be flying out!

I'm really looking forward to Thursday night though, as that's when I'll start digging for sticks to fill up my travel case(s) for the trip :) I'm sure there's things at the bottom of the coolidor I've forgotten about :)
