  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

That's very nice. I had a silver Xi1 that I lost in November. I loved that thing. Replaced it with a Cuban Crafters Perfect Cutter and a xikar VX cutter, but I'll get another Xi at some point.

Thanks guys! I definitely registered it with Xikar for the sheath. I have a Xi2 that I've used for years so I was familiar with the getting a sheath. As far as being a "cigar dork", I can handle that. Been called much worse ;).

Nice pick up! I remember when I got my first Xikar cutter. I really wasn't prepared for the difference that a proper cut would make on the enjoyment of a cigar.

As for the leather sheath, making people register their cutter (or lighter) instead of just including it is a brilliant way to build a customer mailing list. How many of us would register our cutters and lighters if there wasn't a giveaway attached? I know I wouldn't.

That reminds me, I need to mail my Xikar lighter back for repair/replacement. I love that I can do that, especially since it's branded with the CI logo and I only paid $7 for it on the devil's site.

Love the design on your cutter. Xikar is truly my favorite cigar accessory companies, even there HC Series cigars are very well rated.

Great Cutter, like the look. Can not go wrong with a Xikar for quality and warranty. I got the Xi3 Phantom Carbon Fiber for Christmas and sent in for the sheath. The sheath arrived yesterday.

Congrats! I use the Xi3 STK Titanium Black, it's their heaviest cutter. Anyone who grabs it comments on weight. Can't go wrong with Xikar, enjoy!

Nice cutter! I echo all of the accolades about Xikar. I've had an Xi1 for several years and have never had a problem with it. I picked up a lighter around the same time and it gave me some problems. I went through my local B&M and they were great, and Xikar replaced it promptly. No problems since. Can't say enough about Xikar!

I agree on the weight of my new Xi3. I was surprised at how much more sturdy feeling it was than my old Xi2 which is made out of fiberglass (I think). Both great cutters though as they have the same blade.
