  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I do love to cook with a crockpot and decided to fix New Years dinner this year.

I started with a 3 1/2 pd Boston Pork Butt, coated it real good with some bar-b-que seasoning and placed it into my crockpot. To take it over the top I added a jar of Belgian Beer & Onion Braising Base. The Braising Base is a hearty All-Natural Blend of Wheat Ale, Caramelized Onion and Spices.

The pic was taken about halfway thru the cooking process and it will hit the dinner table about 6:30/7:00PM.

I hope everyone enjoy's there New Years Day!

You're killin me Larry! First you mention the Breakfast Stout the other day. Now you mention and awesome pork roast cooked in beer. Why do you torture me so?
So that when you get back to the States we can hookup for a great dinner, some fine cigars and lot's and lot's of good beer!

By the way, I found the last two 4-packs of Founders Breakfast Stout in Wake County yesterday!

Come on Larry, you gotta be more specific on the exact spices you added. Thanks.
