One of the best features on the Accumonitor is the ability to recalibrate. Using a Boveda pack, the Accumonitor can be checked for accuracy. If the reading has drifted(which all hygrometers will do at some point in time), there is a simple, pushbutton procedure to recalibrate the Accumonitor.
There is now a recalibratable, portable hygrometer available. You can see them on Heartfelts website. I have been testing them for a few weeks, and I am very happy with the results. Matt will be including one of the recalibratble hygrometers with each Avallo Cabinet. Our customers will keep using our standard recalibration technique, and then use the recalibratable hygrometer to double check the Accumonitor.
