Nica Update/Changes/info

Just want to create something here for guys incase of changes. I know the email is there but two places is better then 1 for the next couple of days.

Jfire:I'm still on the 725pm to Mia Sunday night. So far I tried to get a confirmed standy for a 540AM flight but they don't offer any on international. So I'll be driving to Ohare at 3 am to do reg standy by with 3 seats avail as of 10 am this morning. If not I'll either try to stay for a 740 flight or head home depending on what they tell me tom morning. I sent Jere updates(my chi contact lol)
Any one else with any changes/info anything post away so that the bros can see if there on the botl currently.

Question? I'm all packed (1 bag), this of course does not leave room to bring anything back. Should I pack a soft pack inside my carryon, that I can put my clothes in on the return flight and pay the $25 check bag fee. This will leave my carryon to load up with goodies?

No checked bag fee on American for an international flight so you should be ok there.

My flights for the a.m. totally disappeared about 4 hours ago. Going to call in a couple hours to get the info. Looks like standby may not be a option anymore and ill be getting in around 11 pm. Sighhhhh.....

Well sometimes your damn good. Called the airline they overbooked the 540 and 750 am flights. I'm not even going to try and get in that mess tomorrow. The only seats I seen available were at 245 and I'm sure the overbookied(s) will be taking the last 2 on that plane as well. Looks like 12 midnight in Mia.
