NJ Summer Smoke

Hello. I live down the shore (no Jersey Shore jokes please...see Island Beach State Park if you want to see what it really looks like) and was thinking of getting a summertime cigar thing going on the beach at sunset/evening time. Any takers?

Thanks for the interest. I was thinking July-ish when it is really nice on the beach and the nights are warm. If there are enough people interested I can get a permit from the town of Seaside Heights. A few summers ago friends of mine had a huge bonfire/party (no booze) at the beach on 7th ave- or so- and it was really awesome. Clean beach area and practically no one around.
If it is only a few of us we can still do it no matter what- no permits needed. Maybe the third Saturday of July? Let me know if the two of you will be around then.
I was thinking, too, about a visit to my local cigar shoppe first and then maybe a cigar tasting/trade at the beach. Just some thoughts.
I will add both of you guys to my contact/friend list and then hopefully create a list of those interested so we can keep in touch.

Depending on what's going on. I could possibly make it keep us posted. My schedule is always changing between my wife being in school and my daughter being 3.

Thanks for kicking this off. There should be more folks interested as long as you advertise well but then again, if you want to keep it small due to restrictions, an army of smokers may not be too wise.

In any event, 2nd week in July is no go. 3rd week in July is also no go - IPCPR. Obviously carry on and don't look at my dates

Do they allow smoking on the beach there? Alomos all beaches in Cali are no smoking. Lickly we have 1 beach with fire rings that still is smoking allowed. We herf there twice a year for the last few years.

I would bring more than chairs and smokes.

Firewood
drinks
beach toys
Shade EZ-Up
Food.

Of course we stay all day. I eat breakfast lunch and dinner at the beach that day.
