A sad sight indeed. In the article it mentions the owner of Sprayberry Bottle shop was at the distillery picking out a barrel for his bottle shop. That bottle shop is not far from my office so I know where to find at least one barrel worth 
Remember mash only takes 3 or 4 days to make so if the repairs are straightforward and they can keep the still running I wouldn't think it was a big loss. When they had the rickhouse collapse that was an issue. They wouldn't or couldn't tell me how much whiskey was lost saying they are still trying to figure it out. My hotel is only a couple of blocks from the distillery and I was wondering why the smell of mash was so strong.
