  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

This is another NUb cigar. The promise "you won’t find another cigar like a NUb" holds very true in my opinion.

I smoked the Cameroon 460 (4" by 60 gauge). Construction was great, felt firm head to foot. The cap was centered and clipped easily. It opened up with a very nutty flavor. The aftertaste faded into a buttery like coating that I really enjoyed. The nutty flavor faded about halfway through the second third and a coffee flavor with a hint of sugar or caramel came into play.

I went as far as I could before starting to burn my fingers on this cigar. The goal was to create a cigar that started at the "sweet spot" but I think they went a little further and created a cigar that was all sweet spot. No bitterness or stale taste at the end.

I've had the Nub Connecticut and Habano. Loved the Habano; wasn't a huge fan of the Connecticut.

I'll give the Cameroon a try on your recommendation.

Personally I love the entire line of NUb cigars. The Connecticut is a great morning smoke, full of butter and cream with loads of flavorful smoke. A real mild cigar. The Cameroon would be a nice lunch time break. A bit stronger with some nuts and coffee. The Habano has some great spice with a bit more body. The Maduro is an excellent late evening cigar, medium body with spice and dark chocolate.

If you didn't really like the Connecticut but loved the Habano I would say go for the Maduro.

I received one in a noob bomb and lit it up tonite. I have only been smoking for about a year, but for inexperienced palate, I found it to nice a smooth in the middle of the smoke. i thought the light up was strong (maybe i am doing it wrong), and smoked down to the taper.

I really keep meaning to pick up some Nubs but for some reason never seem to... I really need to get around to that so I can finally give them a try.

The maduro is a great smoke. Smoked a ton of Nubs when I was starting this hobby but have more or less moved on to stronger stuff. Natural progression, I think. I still grab one now and again and they are a solid smoke!

Great review. I would say you nailed it with your discription. I don't really car for the Nubs only because there just to wide and burn hot fast. (My Oppinion)
However if I wnted to smoke another it would be this one or a Maduro.:cbig:

I just bought my first nub last week. I got the Nub 358 Cameroon because of a few reviews on here. Looking forward to giving it a try.
