@WNYTONY brought up what folks are using as a nubber question a while back. Like him and many others I have some deck screws that are often used for this task. As well as a long fancy nubber that doubles as a poker. Until now.
As I was enjoying a Cain Lancero today I was ruttin' thru my tool cab. and came across one of these cheapo fold out little pocket knives. Years ago many companies gave these out as freebies with their store name on them. I remember having many of these growing up, and loved the simplicity of it.
So I thought this would make a great nubber. All I did was grind the tip down till it was flat across. Then used a Drexel with a cut off disc to cut down the center of the blade to make two points. That's it, less than three minutes to make. Nothing fancy, cheap, but it's very light, doesn't weigh down the pocket, nice and flat, and easy to take anywhere. Still has some cutting edge to it as well, case I ever need another blade, besides the three I already carry. AND, it has its own kickstand.
So if any of you folks have one of these cheapo blades floating around a drawer not being used, here's an idea.
