Should be heading up to NY to pick up a car next week some time, gonna try to hit any shops that are in the NY to DC corridor. I may head upstate for a few just to hit a couple of shops up there if I have time. Will definitely stop though TP when visiting my old hometown. LMK if you guys have any suggestions on stops. G1

BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Wow no suggestions Eh? So far I'm stopping at Tobacco Plaza in Great Neck, Matador in Roslyn, over to Rubens just over the GW, down to Holts (prob north and not downtown as I hate the non parking situation downtown though IMO selection is always better DT), Cigar-ette city in Newak DE. That may be enough or I"ll have to stretch it a day lol. If you have a shouldn't miss place, LMK G1
Man Jay, there you are, I knew that would bring you out LOL> I"m looking at either Monday or Tuesday. I'm looking at schedule. If I leave out early either day, and can get the purchase completed fairly fast, I"ll shoot out to the island and will stop at both probably TP first, then Manhasset, then Matador as my buddy who I'm stopping in to see is in Glen Cove. Depending on when I can get out to the Island will determine when I head back down. Most likely, I"ll be spending the night and leave the next day to drive down. G1
In Maryland, I can recommend both Tobacco Leaf (http://tobaccoleafmd.com/jessup.html) which is easy access off of 95 and Maryland's only Viaje dealer and The Humidour (http://humidour.com/location/) - not so easy access but a great shop.

Looks like this is going to be an "in and out" kind of trip. I was hoping my wife could leave for work later and/or get back early but not happening so I'll be getting into Penn around 2 on Monday, heading to the dealer, hopefully car will be ready, do all paperwork (I"m leaving an hour and a half for this) so that leaves me at 3:30-4:00. Question is do I head out to LI at that time or should I wait till rush hour is over. I"m thinking rush hours going to be heavy till after 7 so I'm leaning towards heading out to the island. Depending on time, I"ll probably head directly over to TP, have my buddy meet me there and we'll go for dinner. I think the matador is open fairly late so depending on time, we'll either head over there or back to his place in glen cove. Then its going to be an early exit as I have to get back for the dogs (though you never know how traffics going to be wink ). Will start the drive and see if Holts and or Cig City in DE are doable. No biggy if not. So if anyone's around to meet either at TP or Matador, we'll be there. G1
Thanks for the offer, I'm going to be staying on the Island tonite so I won't be heading out of the city till early tomorrow am. If something prolongs my stay at the dealer, I'll have to adjust Sched though so ya never know. Will keep update on thread G1
