  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Odd question perhaps

This is why plume was further studied and ended up being concluded it was actually not a hardened oil but crystalline bacterial enzyme that is left over from a more in depth fermenting stage.
Would like to hear more about this, if you have any links or info. Was another thread here that linked to a study of plume that found every example they looked at was just a harmless form of mold. They didn't say that they were ruling it out completely, but even after offering a reward, no one sent a single example. I don't remember if they tested anything > 15 years old, though. Really not trying to reopen a plume vs mold debate, just curious if you remember who did the in depth look? I like to learn new stuff.
