  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Ohhh...This is so MINE!!!

I got to see the original prototype at their office and even the prototype is freaking sweet. My wife actually wants this cutter but I don't think either one of us is willing to spend that much on one.

These Xikar high end cutters are beautiful. My buddy won the mammoth bone cutter in a raffle and the cutter is just sick. Xikars lifetime warranty doesn't hurt either.

Room 101 had one similar with skulls on it that was made by xikar, and it was bad ass! that one was over $200 tho.
The Room 101 one with the Chain wallet style Chain is awesome. But for the two I think it was over $300. Way out of my budget for a cutter.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I'm not into the fancy trims on the Xi sides/handles. And especially not for that price. Whether it's wood, carbon fiber or ornate metal. For significantly less (with an online coupon) I ordered an all polished chrome Xi3 that I love. Simple, classy and with a nice weight to it in my hand, ever since I got it, all my other cutters have been collecting dust.

I am on my third Xikar. While I like the cut, the handles just won't stay on and break. Maybe it is just the wood ones

With the rate that I lose cutters, no way am I dropping $249 for one even though it does look pretty sweet. I wonder how long until cbid has one listed.

Dang Chuck...I have the Amboina cutter and love it. So far I've had no issues at all with the design or wood. I hope it stays that way too!

I would LOVE to have that bad boy.... but there is no way in the world I could EVER justify that price tag.

I am good with my standard $30 Xi1 I got from CBID
