OHIO Smoking Ban....

Summit County Ohio!......

You can tell when this all starts going on. Seems the Smoking section
of the Local Restaurants get smaller or they just go NON-Smoking.
I'm in Michigan, and there is a bill now, if there is a child in the
Vehicle under 18, and your smoking, you get a ticket.
Now this hasn't passed yet, but Here is the Question?....
If you have a kid in a Chair, in the Back the way your supposed to
have, or JUST the chair is there, WHAT or HOW are they
going to justify Pulling you over?.. Under the Assumption there is a
chair in the Back but they see NO CHILD, what then?..
I"ve read of All the bans and such, I still pity the poor S.O.B. (Sweet
Ol' Boy) that comes to my House and tell me to Quit...
Most my Smoking is Walking my 1 Mile to Coffee, and back.... Simple: I
don't bother Anyone, and I sure ain't going to let them Bother Me!

People Tell me I have a Attitude Problem!.. (Imagine that)..
I don't have a Attitude Problem, I have a Attitude and there are some
that may have a Problem with that...
I've been Called DEFIANT also!.. I just didn't listen to them!..

Most likley, as with most of the bills that have been introduced to try and do the same things in other states, they will have to have some other reason for pulling you over. In other words, if you are speeding, and are also smoking with a child under 18 in the car, then they ticket you for both. But most of these bills do not allow them to pull you over just because they think you are smoking in the car with a child under 18.

I understand the no smoking due to poor vehicle ventilation and the childern have to breath that. I also understand its our right to smoke if we want too. However, most car rides are only a few minutes, I'm sure the childern inhale several times the amount of smoke at home then they would in the car. It seems like a pointless law, almost created so people can say "look what we have the power to do, we can infringe on you smoking rights".

Connecticut passed a no distraction while driving law. In ther words, hands free cell, no eating or drinking while driving, no playing with your MP3 player, etc. If an officer feels you are being distracted while driving they have the right to pull you over. For some reason teens seem to be getting targeted a lot. I know some one that got ticketed for lighting a cigeratte under that law. The officer said she swerved while lighting it and she was distracted. In all honesty, how are we to prove an officer of the law wrong, they are supose to be high citezens and trustable. Got to love our political system (no).

It would not surprise me if that law gets approved in Ohio.

If that old Woman can make my Eyes Water, This is offensive to
Everyone also... Plus if you seen her, you not want to be on the road!..
