  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I agree on the Harvest Moon. Already that time of year again, I will have to a little research and development here on the homefront and put up some reviews.

I'm a big fan of Paulaner Oktoberfest-Märzen. It's goood I was first introduced to it on tap at the Flying Saucer in Memphis TN. That place rocked.

My favorite is The Kaiser from Avery Brewing in Boulder, CO. It's an Imperial Oktoberfest style so the ingredients, flavors, and alcohol are all ramped up. A phenomenol beer.

Agreed! Can't go wrong with Paulaner. I even like their wheat beer & I'm not at all a wheat beer fan. For me the Salvator is the best.

Count me in as a 3rd singing the praises of Paulaner!! Picked some up this weekend. Also, for the first time, I picked up some Hoptober by New Belgium, WOW, it's GREAT! And I recommend drinking it in the correct glass versus out of the bottle, serious difference in taste (ie - BETTER!).

I'm sure you guys will appreciate the pic of me and a mass of Paulaner Oktoberfest, care to guess where I am? Date was October of 2007:

I'm suprised nobody has mentioned Spaten. I would have to also say the Paulaner is my fovorite but the Spaten is a close second. Widmer's Okto is good too but hard to find outside of Oregon.

I just a growler yesterday of the Troegs fest beer. It was fantastic. So any of you localish guys should see about getting some. Tonight I will be sampling MANY different beers at a craft brew fest.
