Hi there. Pretty new to humidors.
I have a small issue with some mysterious mold showing up on my humidifier. I am using a Dry-mistat tube, and occasionally (mostly when I get new sticks in my humi), the original disc humidifier that came with the humidor. Today, Mon. July 23rd, found some mold on the disc humi, and the single stick below it.

What do I do?
Is that stick ruined?
Am I over humidifying?
Is the Humidor ruined?

if its white mold, just wipe the cigar off. if its blue/green mold, throw the cigar away.

the Drymistat is a good product if you like your cigars at 70% humidity. if you want to store your cigars at a lower humidity level, there will be less chance of mold growing. Heartfelt Beads and Bovedas can be purchased at 65% humidity. I use both products in my desktops.

the green foam in your humidifier is no good. if you can pry the humidifier apart, you can refill it with Heartfelt beads.

as long as there is no mold growing on the wood of your desktop, you should be OK.

lmk if you need any more help.
