This is not a review but rather just some notes on this single cigar. I'd also be interested to hear feedback from others.
I received this small perfecto shaped cigar from CI recently. My first thought was that the head was rolled to such a sharp point, all I needed to do was attach a couple of flights and I could use this on my dartboard. :bouncetau
My overall negative experience started when I clipped the end. I had to take about 3/4" off in order to get a decent sized opening, but this caused the wrapper to crack + tear. Most other maduro wrappers I've had are far more forgiving.
The cigar started off OK, with a decent draw and some nice flavors. The strength was a bit more than I usually prefer, edging toward med-full, but I was handling it fine. At about the 1" point my mouth started drying out and with each puff it only became worse. Drinking water did not help, so I finally just put the cigar down because the effect was really making the flavors very unpleasant. My mouth returned to normal after 20 min and a stick of gum. I must say, this is the worst cigar I've has in recent memory.
