  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Oliva Serie V
Size: Double Robusto
Wrapper: Habano Sun Grown
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Jalapa Valley Ligero

So this was the first time that I have smoked this cigar so I will try my best at giving a review

Pre light: The cigar feels very firm and fells solid in my hand. The wrapper is dark but not overly. There are hints of coffee on the pre light smell.

Burn: The burn was very even, no runs, no relights. There was the average spice from a Nicaraguan cigar. There were also lots of coffee and woody flavor though out the smoke. The coffee was the dominet flavor, which was very good.

After thoughts: The cigar was very enjoyable. It didnt change very much throughout the cigar. But that may just be because I cant tell very many flavor changes in cigars yet. It may also be because I am just getting over a cold.

Good review. I absolutely love the V Torpedos, I would rank them as my favorite go-to regular priced sticks.
The coffee really shows through on those I find as well.

I love these cigars! I have never smoked a bad one. In fact sometimes they are hard to find, so this year I am stocking up!

Their Lancero is also excellent, give it a try!

Thanks for the review.

I bought a box (10) of the V Nub's - 4 x 60. I have only had one, but it was pretty darn good! I look forward to trying some more and doing a review myself.

Funny - I note there aren't many who dislike the V lol.

Great smoke...I have several each of the robusto, belicoso and lancero resting comfortably. My palate never picks up much spice with these, but very creamy, great with coffee. Always have to pace myself because they can pack a whallop and put a hurt on you.

Beautiful looking, tasting and performing smoke.
