I smoked a '12 Partagas PSD 4, and it was amazing! It was very rich, creamy, buttery, and cedary! I was in a Walmart
parking lot, refusing to go inside to make my purchases until I actually finished the stick! I didn't want to relight it and
destroy the memory of what I was enjoying in that moment! In the last 3rd it kicked up to peppery, and very full bodied!
I could smoke a stick like that once a day for the rest of my life!

The only cigar that I've smoked that was better was a Johnny O brushed foot lancero natural wrapper back in
2010.

Hard to go wrong with a PSD4. They get noticeably better with some age too.

I have an 08 box of D4's, but smoked up my ENE 12 ten count box first because they were actually smoking that well

I cannot agree more. These, if you find the right box, are absolutely fantastic. I have a few left of the box I got a couple months ago, it's going really fast. In fact, IronchefScott should be able to give a glimpse of these as well :wink:
I have never really liked the D4's all that much, well, enough to buy a box, but these new ones are great.

You had a p2 that put the d4 to shame? Just being clear. I was about to order the p2 as I like belis/pyramids but I'd never had one or heard anything about em

I've gone through two 2012 boxes of Partagas Serie D No 4s. Each one was consistent and delicious, with a perfect draw and burn. It seems to be a good year for them.

Lets put it this way. I wish I would have gotten a box of P No 2's instead. Dont get me wrong, love my box of PSD4s but enjoyed the other one that much more.

I really like the d4s, and wouldnt regret getting them by any means but smoked a 2011 p2 the other day that edged out any d4 ive had. Both great cigars imo tho!

I've got a box of March '12 PSD4's, and they were rubbish last time I had one. Can't remember when that was, mind. Will have one this coming weekend.
