Nice oily dark veiney wrapper, ash flakey and grey but relatively sturdy, draw was a little tight. Burn was even, but went out on me a few times, smoke was thick and creamy. Medium bodied woody core, with a nice spice about it, but not a whole lot else. Plenty of harsh spots, which kind of ruined its good qualities. Not what I expected, got more harsh towards the end and was unpleasantly one demensional. I need to try one that was bought a few years ago Ive heard they have changed quite a bit over the last 2 years.
I was unimpressed and prefer the sungrown series over this any day! Ended bitter, dry, and hot! :cursing:

i just got a fiver, gotta say it was ok, the regular edge is awesome. I will give them a few months to relax and then we'll see.
but on that note, I got a box of counterfeit maduros and they are great, much better than the original.

I have been smoking the corojo edge since they came out. I bought one of the huge coffins of 100 I liked them so much. IMO these have changed since rolled out but I still like them. The maduro was never in my top ten. I enjoyed the smoke but the corojo was always calling me back.

That's alot of smokes! Funny how people's taste can differ. I on the other hand never really liked the corojo. Loved the maduro and smoked quite a few at one time. Haven't had one in quite a long time because they seemed to be going downhill. I did notice some in a B&M last week and thought to myself they looked like someone had dumped a bottle of Castor oil on em.:sadcry:

Im thinking about getting CI's corojo sampler pack now. I want to try the latest Punch Rare Corojo, and the Edge Corojo, plus theres a comacho and the "Padilla Edicion Especial Achilles" in the sampler.
