  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Does anybody here order drugs online?

I am not talking about controlled substances. Just asking about if anyone orders medicine thru the internet instead of the local pharmacy.

I did a quick search and saw some places had the one I am taking for about 1/3 of what the local charged me. 30 for 51.00 vs 100 for 101.00.
any help out there would be appriciated.

Yes. Our insurance offers that so I order my inhalers that way and get three months worth for the price of one. Funny thing is, our insurance won't let me do the same thing at the local pharmacy.

Any good websites that seem reputable?

There are alot in Canada but others in mexico,U.K., austraila,Isreal and so forth. Just worried about second rate medicine or fakes.

I have Scripts Plus. I can get a 3 month supply of just about anything for $10.

Beats the pharmacy hands down.

I had a herniated disk a few years ago. My neurologist prescribed Oxy's, but those little buggers are $2.50 a pill. So I turned it over to Sripts+ and I got 150 of them for $30. (3 scripts @ $10 each)

The drugs available from the online insurance approved places are the same drugs that are in our local pharmacy. I wouldn't buy any overseas nor would I buy any from any old fly-by-night Internet site.

Are you by chance a pharmacist?

Nope, we just go to the pharmacist in the Safeway at the front of the sub-division because our insurance covers 'em. (minus a small co-pay)

Usually you want to try and hunt down a generic first if there is one. Sometimes the doctor prescribes the commercial. I know someone who buys from canada and hasn't had any problems. I also know some guys who run a site down in costa rica located here http://tropicdrugs.com/

Sometimes stuff is cheaper on drugstore.com, really depends on the item.

I wished I was a pharmacist.:blob:

My insurance does not cover drugs. So any cost of medicine is right out of my pocket. I have not been on any meds in a long time and my doctor just gave me one scrip for something and just trying to see if anybody had any ideas for helping me save money.

By the way, did anyone here know that the largest purchasers of Viagra are nursing homes?
Well, since no one's going to ask, I'll just go ahead and tell you. Nursing homes like Viagra 'cause it keeps the old fella's from rolling out of bed at night.

Don't you hate it when you're out there working without a straight man?
