I am a total n00b when it comes to scotch, but i really enjoyed the balvenie 12 double portwood. ive searched but cannot find a thread on online sources for libations, mainly scotch.

Can anyone divulge any websites with good deals on scotch, or libations in general? Thanks!

They had Laphroaig 18 yr Single Malt on sale for 80 and free shipping last week, it still might be. Pretty good price compared to prices around me.

in IL... check out Binnys.

there are a lot of places that ship scotch, generally wine retailers that have a few bottles here and there. one of my favorite sites to check is www.wine-searcher.com

just type in the scotch you want instead of winery, and it will pull up a good number of results

thanks justin and matt! i do frequent binny's, and they have a decent selection, but it's hard not to also get cigars as they have a decent selection in their humidor too. plus i wanted to try to bypass IL tax. haha!
