  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Ooh boy, new furniture...

Merry Christmas to us!

They are coming in matching colors (the brown on the left) and we went with slightly different styles to mix it up a little.

Yeah, we have cats and they haven't touched the leather theater seats in the basement so far.

My two kids are angels so that's no worry. :hysterica

We paid for five years of service on the leather so if it is damaged by anything other than the cats it is covered.

Leather! That's nice! In some ways wouldn't leather be easier to keep clean? If you spill something on it you can just wipe it up instead of staining like fabric would. At least it worked that way with my old girlfriends leather couch:stretchgr .

Yeah, my only concern is tears and punctures but we got coverage for that. Clean up should be easy.

The TV is a "65 2003 Mitubishi Diamond HDTV JT.

Nice Todd, but do you find that the bass becomes too emphasized with having your speakers in that enclosure? I would also think it would smear response of all the drivers too if they are recessed behind the edge of the enclosure.

Nope, not at all. I had it hooked up and watched a few movies before I built the towers and it seems to sound cleaner this way.

I think it helps that my receiver has a little microphone that you place in the viewing position and it adjusts all the settings appropriately...maybe it is compensating for it all. :dunno:

All I know is that it sounds better than the local theater. :skew:
