Woodford is the only thing I drink besides scotch. It's probably the best in it's price range. Knobb Creek is a close second but has more of a bitter after taste than the Woodford. Sadly I go through a fifth alone every two weeks along with my scotch. It can become an expensive habit. You have been warned.
If you want to bump up to a nice single malt for around 10 bucks more you can go with The Glenlivet 12 yr. but that may be a little harsh for those unaccustomed to scotch.
There was a bottle of woodford reserve when I went fishing in Canada last year. It was really good, but I stuck more to the cognac.
Woodford is right up there with knob creek to me.
I have a bottle at home. I keep it mainly for if someone wants Bourbon as I prefer my Knob Creek. The Woodford is just a bit too tame for me. It'll do in a pinch though.
