  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

After the thread about favorite Opus size, i decided to try out the Petite lancero. I wanted to do this review a bit different then I normally do. I usually jot notes down on my iphone while smoking, then go over them and write a review. I thought it would be interesting to just copy and paste the raw notes. Might give a new guy an idea of one way to go about the process or doing a review. I thoroughly enjoyed this cigar, and put it up there as one of my fav opus.

Nice! I've never actually smoked an Opus petite lancero (but yes, I do HAVE one, lol). I've been planning to do this one for the next Opus I have.

I like the quick-and-dirty review format too!

Thanks for the review Scott. this is the one Opus that lets me down most of the time. This is probably one of my favorite vitolas and I have just found most of these to have a super tight draw. I keep giving them a shot and nothing ever changes.

I have smoked a few of them over the last few years. I have never had a draw issue but then again I keep the RH a bit lower in my humi and they are placed pretty high and to the front away from the humidifier so that might be the issue.

Toward the very end I cut the entire pyramid off, and it had a perfect draw.
