I've smoked the regular BBMF a few times... With that How does the maduro compare? I know that wrapper is not the same as a real maduro opus but being of a darker shade what are the tasting notes that make the difference between the reg. and the maduro?

I'm not sure if it's the 2nd or 3rd video, but K says it tastes like they used the Anejo wrapper - tastes more like an Anejo than regular Opus.

What does the nat BBMF taste like? A regular Opus or stronger version?

I found it to be very close to a DC size opus. I find the smaller the ring on opus the stronger those liitle buggers can be. I wouldn't say it was the best opus I've ever had but it sure is cool looking and I've never had one more than 3yo... The best opus I've ever had and maybe top 5 memorable cigars was an OR DC Opus 2 years ago with a good buddy on the back deck with some fantastic Laphroaig... WOW!

Sometimes, when people smoke an anejo and says it's an maduro wrapper opus, they are wrong. This thing is the anejo wrapper with opus filling. I was like smoking an anejo but, with the smells and taste of the opus. I did not get a chance to smoke the natural, you can read bagfullofpings review for that.

terrantheman - I like the strength of the thinner gauged Opus too, PLs & #4's are my favorites... Maybe I should see about getting or wishing for a lancero... :nodlaugh:

Kumar - Thanks for clarifying your impression - I always thought that's what an Anejo was - Opus w/ congnac/maduro wrap...
Hmmmm, now it's got me thinking what the heck is in them...?
